About Bear-Tastic – Cute and Sexy Queer Merch for Gay Bears

Hi! We’re Martin and Andreas — the design bear and business otter behind Bear-Tastic. We’re the team bringing you cute, sexy, and inclusive queer merch made by and for the gay bear community. Martin lives in Vienna, Austria, but originally comes from a small town in Carinthia near the Italian border. Andreas is originally from Berlin and now lives in Bavaria. Together, we combine creativity, design, and community to build something that celebrates what makes us all beary unique.

Bear-Tastic began as a passion project in 2019. Martin wanted to create art that reflected his identity as a gay bear — something playful, sexy, body-positive, and real. What started with a few fun T-shirt designs quickly evolved into a growing collection of queer fashion and merch. When Andreas came on board, Bear-Tastic became a true team effort. Martin is the design bear, dreaming up ideas and creating graphics. Andreas is the business otter, helping the brand grow behind the scenes and connecting with our amazing community.

At Bear-Tastic, we’re not just selling products — we’re telling a story. A story about queer joy, radical self-love, and the power of community. We design for the bears, cubs, chubs, otters, daddies, pups, and all our fabulous allies. Whether you're hairy or smooth, big or small, kinky or cuddly, there’s a place for you here. This brand is built around queer visibility, bear culture, and self-expression.

We believe fashion should be inclusive, body-positive, and fun. That’s why we offer a wide range of sizes — from S to 5XL — for most items, including tank tops, t-shirts, and hoodies. Everyone deserves to feel sexy in their own skin (and fur). We’re proud to support people of all shapes and sizes, no matter where they’re from or how they identify. We design clothes that feel good to wear, not just physically, but emotionally.

Many of our designs are inspired by bear pride, fetish culture, and queer art. We love blending bold ideas with playful, cheeky energy — because that’s what bear culture is all about. Whether it’s a cuddly bear hugging a heart, a pup with a harness, or a slogan that makes you smirk, we want our designs to make you feel seen and celebrated.

Our mission is also rooted in activism and awareness. From time to time, we release fundraiser items that support causes we care about — such as LGBTQ+ rights, trans visibility, and international solidarity. One example: our special edition designs supporting Ukraine. Being queer isn’t just about glitter and pride — it’s about community, resistance, and love.

Although we’re based in Austria and Germany, Bear-Tastic is international. We ship our merch all over the world and are proud to have customers in the US, UK, Europe, and beyond. It warms our hearts every time someone posts a photo in their favorite Bear-Tastic tee, tank, or hoodie. No matter where you’re from, you’re welcome in our furry little family.
